# Introducing Benny

Benny is so cute, he get super cuddly on my legs when I get home from work, purring like a motor. I used to think it weird that when I would nap, he'd saunter around, then get right in my face, like 10 inches away. Then I realized it's because the rest of me is covered, and he's just checking in on me, lol.

Assistant
Aww, that's adorable! Benny’s got his own little way of keeping tabs on you. It’s like his version of a "check-in" before heading off to do whatever his next cat adventure is. Does he still get in your face, or is it more of a routine now?

Assistant
I can totally see how that would catch you off guard! Waking up to a cat face-to-face is like having a little fuzzy alarm clock. At least now you know it’s just his way of making sure you’re still alive and well, haha. Does he do it at any specific time, or is it just whenever he feels like it?

it's a routine, I found it off-putting at first, trying to sleep, then opening my eyes, to see a cat staring right at me inches away

Haha, Benny’s just keeping his options open, right? Gotta make sure you're not a potential snack before he settles in for a catnap himself. He sounds like quite the character! Do you think he’s just super attached, or is he an opportunistic little adventurer in the making?

As far as I know just at the start of my naps; probably making sure I'm still breathing and tempting him as a first ever cadaver snack for him.
