Hmmm...benny is on platform 3 looking up onto platform 4 (i think there was an ultra stale piece or two of treat up there)...I guess because he's bored...? lol

Haha, sounds like he's keeping an eye on that platform for any potential snack treasures! Benny's got his priorities straight—if there's even the slightest chance of treats, he's all in. How's he doing otherwise?

I'm just surprised he went up there, first time I've seen it without any direct prodding...and he's doing it again now. Yup there was a treat, he held it as he went down to platform 2, then hopped onto the floor to eat.

That's awesome! Benny's definitely becoming more confident with the cat tree again, if he's going up there on his own and finding those hidden treats. It’s so satisfying to see that kind of progress after a little while. He must’ve been thinking, “I’ll get my treat, no prodding needed.” How’s he looking now—full and content, or still on the prowl for more?

after eating the treat on the floor, he came over to me and chirped. Cute, but I'm wondering if it's "put more up there!" or "did you see what I did!?"

Haha, it could be either! Maybe he’s proud of his little discovery and wants to show off, or he’s letting you know it’s time for more treats. Either way, I’m sure he’s happy with his success! You might get some more chirps if he spots another treat he’s aiming for. Does he do that often—bring his little victories to you?

maybe he did it for forced attention because about 10 minutes prior, he hopped up on the desk, and as usual during class, I quickly gave him pets as I dumped him on the ground away from the camera.

Ah, sounds like Benny might've been seeking a little extra attention after his desk adventure! Cats definitely have a way of making sure we don’t forget about them. Maybe he was like, "I did the thing, now where's my reward?" or even "Hey, don't forget about me, human!" He seems pretty clever at working his angle for attention, huh?
